IED is an evolving educational system with a widespread and clear mission: to hand young creatives the 'Design Knowledge and Mindset' that will accompany them throughout their lives.

IED is far more than a school: it is the melting pot where new generations of professionalism are constantly unfolded, a powerhouse of ideas that develops creativity through its range of undergraduate courses, masters courses and advanced training courses.

An international university-level network for Design, Fashion, Visual Communication and Management of creative disciplines, with schools in Italy: Milan, Rome, Turin, Venice and Cagliari, in Spain: Madrid and Barcelona and Sao Paolo and Rio De Janeiro in Brazil.

The Roma Web Fest, which is about to come back for its second edition on 26-27-28 September 2014 at the MAXXI Museum, celebrates the phenomenon of the web series.

The festival gives to the most capable independent authors the chance to stand out of the Web niche; involves cinematographic productions, making them aware of the opportunities the Web; creates profitable contacts between filmmakers and companies sensitive in conveying their message through new languages.

A special section is devoted to fashion film and to web radios.

Founded in 1992 in Rome, ARCIPELAGO - International Festival of Short Films and New Images is a project "in progress" with the aim of worldwide search and acknowledgement of the most original drives and of the most innovative film languages developing inside non-standard audiovisual formats - starting with short films and including works belonging to the new "digital domain" and to the Web's borderless immaterial landscapes.

Special attention is paid to the European production, witnessing its quakes and registering its changes, as well as drawing the most updated map of new trends and of independent, marginal and experimental activities.

The Pastificio Cerere Foundation was established in Rome in 2004 by wish of its president, Flavio Misciattelli, with the objective of promoting and disseminating contemporary art through the development of relationships and collaborations with private and public bodies, and national and foreign cultural institutions.

The Foundation is housed inside the Pastificio Cerere, a former pasta factory that rose to fame in the 1980s as the home of the “San Lorenzo Group". The Foundation organizes and promotes educational projects and residences for young artists and curators, as well as a rich program of shows, conferences, workshops and studio visits. The artistic director of Pastificio Cerere Foundation is Marcello Smarrelli.

AIFB, Associazione Italiana food Blogger (Italian Food Blogger Association) is an organization created with the commitment of a determined group of Food Bloggers, that are investing enthusiasm and energies in the pursuit of their beliefs.

The main goal of AIFB, a no-profit organization, is to create real opportunities of meeting and education for all those who love food and promote its culture through a blog. The aim is to create an effective sharing of ideas among different individuals and organizations. Exchange of opinions and ideas, openness, respect, humility and passion for learning are all elements that characterize the founders of the Association, since the very beginning.

AIFB supports Short Food Movie because we believe in this Global Open Call and in the synergies between cinema and food.

Arca is a Recreational, Cultural and Sports Association for ENEL Group employees and for their associated companies. It promotes and carries out initiatives for free time, cultural events, options for holidays and tourism, agreements for services at subsidizes rates, activities for children, teenagers, for the family and the elderly. Cesvi is secular and independent humanitarian organization founded in Bergamo in 1985. With more than 30 offices abroad, Cesvi works in all continents to address any kind of emergency and rebuild civil society after wars and natural disasters. Cesvi's challenge is to transform the humanitarian relief into an opportunity to build medium and long term projects that promote self-development of the beneficiary communities.

In Italy and in Europe Cesvi promotes international campaigns of information, education and awareness to promote the culture of global solidarity, especially among younger people.

Tulipani di seta nera is an international social communication project, which makes use of the cultural strength of the cinematographic mean.

The aim is to collect the best film materials around the world (short films, documentaries and feature films) that look at the lives of individuals that have been shunned because of their physical appearance, their religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

The project SMILE FOOD SHOWREEL, part of the project Expo 2015 Short Food Movie, is a great opportunity for filmmakers sensitive to such social issues to contribute, with their video, to the international project Expo Milano 2015 “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life"

Established in 1974, CTS is the most important Youth Association in Italy, offering its members sustainable and responsible tourist services to experience the world and language courses and educational programmes abroad. CTS means also nature, youth policies and travel training. MoliseCinema Film Festival was born in 2003 in Casacalenda (Campobasso) aiming to bring the cinema back to small towns. We consider "Cinema" both as a physical place and as a high quality cultural offer. The festival promotes the latest and most innovative products of Italian and international cinema, paying particular attention to young authors and new languages. The competition focuses mainly on short films and documentaries. The 12 editions so far have been attended by hundreds of filmmakers, actors and films from all over the world. The audience is growing year by year and the festival received enthusiastic consent from institutions, professionals, media and locals.

IGAV – Istituto Garuzzo per le Arti Visive, a not-for-profit association based in Turin, Italy, was set up in 2005 with a view to raising awareness of Italian contemporary art.

With the intention of promoting national and international exhibition projects, cultural exchanges and projects geared towards highlighting the visual art being produced by established masters and, above all, by up-and-coming young artists.

IGAV organizes large-scale exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Almost ten years on, after a great deal of time and effort invested, numerous events organised and many resources invested, the Institute has succeeded in achieving the following: 40 exhibitions staged at 33 different Museums and venues, in 11 Countries (Argentina, Armenia, China, Croatia, Italy, Jordan, Korea, Russia, Slovakia, the UK and Uruguay); 757 appearances (with one or more works) by 231 artists, of whom 164 are Italian; 5 international prizes awarded to 17 artists.

The Food Film Fest is an international film and food festival sponsored by Associazione Montagna Italia, in cooperation with the Bergamo Chamber of Commerce, Slow Food, Coldiretti Bergamo and the University of Bergamo.

The event, now in its second year, aims to promote a conscious food culture via an international movie competition, under the artistic direction of the Associazione Festival Internazionale del Cinema. The competition is open to feature films, short films and documentaries which explore all aspects of the world of food.

As well as the competition, the Food Film Fest at Expo 2015 features additional events, including conferences, lectures, tastings and meetings with international guests, which celebrates the world of food in all its variety.
